INSURANCE TERMS

• In case of an accident, if the hirer is responsible, they will pay the accident penalty (the excess amount of insurance coverage) + 20% of the repair costs, in addition to the daily rent until the vehicle is repaired. If the hirer is not responsible and the second party is present, the hirer is liable to pay the daily rental until the vehicle repair is completed.
• In the event of “TOTAL LOSS” (damage to the vehicle beyond economic repair), the hirer agrees to pay Marvic Car Rental 20% of the total insured value of the vehicle + the accident penalty (the excess amount of insurance coverage).
• The hirer must be a holder of a valid driving license for at least one (1) year, and the hirer must be over 25 years of age.
• In a deal between Marvic Car Rental and the hirer whose driving license is less than one year or who is under 25 years of age, the hirer is fully liable to pay for all repair charges and damages.
• The vehicle is for use in the A.E. only, and the insurance coverage also applies only within the U.A.E.
• If any accident occurs because the driver was under the influence of alcohol or any substance with the same effect, the hirer must pay comprehensive compensation for any losses or damages to the vehicle and will be fully responsible before the official authorities.
• The hirer must ensure that the vehicle is parked in a safe and secure place when not in use. Any damages caused to the vehicle, including damages due to natural disasters, will be the sole responsibility and liability of the hirer, as these cannot be claimed through insurance.

• In case of any damage not supported by a police report, the hirer shall be fully responsible before the official authorities, plus the vehicle repair costs.

FINES AND SALIK TERMS

• The hirer agrees to pay all traffic and parking fines incurred during the rental period.

• The hirer agrees to pay a deposit for traffic and parking fines during or after the rental period, according to the agreement. Marvic Car Rental reserves the right, within one year of the end of the rental, to claim any unpaid amounts from the hirer.

• The hirer agrees to pay charges for the passage of the car through the electronic gates of the “SALIK SYSTEM” (5 DHS per pass).

CONDITIONS

• In case of any accident, the hirer must not move the car from the accident scene before the police inspection is complete. The hirer must deliver all the required documents to Marvic Car Rental immediately; otherwise, they will be held fully responsible.
• The hirer is responsible for paying the repair and daily rent fees for the period when the vehicle is not operational due to an accident or technical trouble caused by carelessness, negligence, or intentional actions of the hirer.
• In case of an accident, or technical, or mechanical troubles, the hirer must inform Marvic Car Rental
• The hirer is not allowed to make any repairs to the vehicle without informing Marvic Car Rental. The vehicle should be returned in good condition according to the attached check-out list. The hirer also undertakes to keep sufficient water and oil in the vehicle. If the vehicle is returned unclean, the hirer will be responsible for paying cleaning charges.
• The hirer must return the vehicle to Marvic Car Rental for periodical services.
• The hirer should not use the vehicle for off-road driving, races, rallies, competitions, desert areas, or any activities that may damage the vehicle. The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused by such activities.
• The hirer is responsible for any complaints, cases, or obligations regarding the vehicle before Marvic Car Rental or the official authorities that occur during the rental period. The hirer will be fully responsible if the vehicle is used to transport forbidden items in the U.A.E. The hirer must also pay the full amount of the contract until an arrangement is reached with Marvic Car Rental.
• Marvic Car Rental will not be responsible for any cash or valuable belongings left or lost inside the vehicle while it was in the hirer’s possession or after the rental period ends.
• The hirer is allowed to drive up to 250 kilometers per day. Any additional kilometers will incur extra charges depending on the car model.
• One day of hire means 24 hours. A delay of more than one hour will be calculated as a full day.

• In case the hirer returns the car late, the hirer will be charged AED 25 for each additional day of delay. If the outstanding payment exceeds AED 5000, the hirer will be charged 2% of the total amount for each day of delay.

IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE

– Car towing service

– Decline in value, regardless of whether the vehicle is repaired or not

– Any amounts paid by Marvic Car Rental as a result of the loss or damage to the vehicle, including court costs and legal fees

NO INSURANCE COVERAGE IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES

– Subleasing the vehicle – The driver under the influence of alcohol or any substance having the same effect at the time of the accident – The vehicle is being driven by an unauthorized driver – Any damages caused to the vehicle due to natural disasters – Off-road driving, participation in races, or driving inside desert areas – The vehicle is driven outside the UAE.

– I authorize Marvic Car Rental to recover the vehicle by key reserves from anywhere in the UAE without reference to me.

HOURS AND DELIVERY TERMS

– Be a delivery vehicle leased confined to the following times: from nine o’clock AM to one PM and four PM until ten o’clock PM, except on Thursday when the last delivery time will be seven o’clock PM. On Fridays, a public holiday, if the vehicle is returned on Friday after a prior agreement with Marvic Car Rental, the rent for Friday will be charged in full.

– The hirer must not sublease the rented vehicle. Persons not acknowledged in the rental agreement as a driver, or a second driver, are not authorized to withhold the vehicle. The hirer agrees to leave the original passport with Marvic Car Rental without any objections until the rental period has ended. Claiming the original identification documents surrendered to the rental company will take effect as soon as the rented vehicle is returned without any damages and/or unpaid debts.

-In the event of complaints filed with public authorities, governmental or non-governmental agencies, the hirer who is at fault is liable to pay for all fees, documentation, and inconveniences caused by the actions of the hirer, which affect the rental company.

 – The specified distance for tenant monthly rental is 4,000 kilometers. If the distance exceeds this, the hirer will pay an additional fee per kilometer, according to the agreement.
